The NFL playoffs are in full swing as we come off Wild Card Weekend. After the Minnesota Vikings and Los Angeles Rams put this opening slate to bed with their postseason showdown on Monday night, just eight teams will remain in contention for the Lombardi Trophy.

I love NFL football, and while it’s undoubtedly going to hurt seeing teams in the postseason with—in my opinion—worse rosters than the Lions, I can withstand that realization, because NFL playoff football is just too good.
