The Detroit Lions have reportedly "reached out" to former Miami Dolphins head coach Mike McDaniel about their offensive coordinator vacancy, according to NFL Network's Ian Rapoport.

Former Lions quarterback David Blough, who retired after the 2023 season, is among the early candidates who is expected to interview for the coveted vacancy. Another name that supporters were intrigued by is Baltimore Ravens offensive coordinator Todd Monken.
