The Trump administration has built up a fleet of warships near Venezuela, including the largest U.S. aircraft carrier, as American forces keep blowing up small boats accused of smuggling narcotics for drug cartels.

The new detail further complicates the military’s explanations for its actions during the Sept. 2 strike in the Caribbean Sea.

There were four casualties in Thursday's strike, according to the social media post, bringing the death toll of the campaign to at least 87 people.
