Army went up 14-0 by halftime as Andy Davidson scored on a pair of 1-yard runs. However, Navy tacked on 10 points in the third quarter and pulled ahead 17-14 on a 41-yard run by Zach Abey (his second of the game). Army responded with a 9-yard scoring run by quarterback Ahmad Bradshaw with six minutes left and held on for the win.
Navy came back from a 16-7 second half deficit to beat Army, 17-16, for their second consecutive win over their rivals, giving them back-to-back wins in the series for the first time since 2014-15. The win also gives Navy their first back-to-back 10-win seasons in program history, as the Midshipmen finish the year 10-2.
