AECT on Instagram: "Performing a demonstration of how a home built with compressed earth block (CEB) walls can save your life. We built this test structure with 14”-thick, 3’-tall CEB walls. AECT president, Ryan Runge, sat inside the structure for 2 hours while a fire raged all around it. The fire temperature peaked at close to 700 degrees F, but the inside of the blocks only increased from 28 degrees to 36 degrees. CEB walls can save lives.
